Bespoke Websites
A bespoke website is a stand alone website with its own doamin and identity. It can have as many pages, content and links as you may wish. The domain address can be anything you would like - provioding it is not already registered - and the cost of this along with hosting and management of the website is all included in our Bespoke Website Service.
Initially we will work with you to design your website. The content of the website will be a mix of text, images, links to content on other sites e.g. blogs, social media, your books on sale elsewhere. It is possible to include your work on the website too, but if you wish to sell it directly from the website you would be advised to look at our Ecommerce Website option. You will also have the option to have perasonal email addresses as part of the website service.
Your own web address and full website is a logical step:
- to further promote yourself
- to cover more areas of content
- possibly you want to include some excerpts of your work
- have separate pages for different genres
- write under different pseudonyms and want them all on one website
- develop a collaborative website with other writers.
We are happy to work with you to create any of these and other options too. Bespoke Websites are based on design and setup cost of just £199, plus and ongoing annual maintenance & hosting fee of £90. No payment is requested until you are happy with the final design*. The annual management includes web domain re-registration when it becomes due.
The registering of your own domain would be undertaken just prior to your site going live. *Earlier registration could incur a small fee at that time, which would not be refundable if you decided not to go ahead with your website. The domain would remain registered and you could use it elsewhere if you so wished.
