Trevor Harvey writes one-act plays that are staged by amateur dramatic societies, as well as humorous poetry for young children (5-11) that has been widely published.
He has been a judge for playwriting competitions with the New Venture Theatre and Sussex Playwrights' Club and for New Writing South's Award for Best New Play on Brighton Festival Fringe (2011 - 2013).
Trevor also co-wrote a musical (with Ian White) that was given two amateur productions in 2006 and he has worked on a number of projects with, among others, Terence Deadman.
Trevor is a member of New Writing South and The Sussex Playwrights' Club and he was a university lecturer until his retirement in 1997.
